PREACH WITH ACTIONS MORE THAN WORDS.
One of the most popular sayings attributed to Saint Francis of Assisi reminds us that our lives can speak louder than our words.
“Preach the Gospel at All Times; When Necessary, Use Words.”
As Christians, we are not called merely to talk about Christ—we are called to live Christ.
Our kindness can preach.
Our integrity can preach.
Our forgiveness can preach.
Our humility can preach.
Our faithfulness can preach.
Our love can preach.
People may not always remember what we said, but they will often remember how we treated them.
Jesus said:
“Ye are the light of the world. A city that is set on an hill cannot be hid.”
— Matthew 5:14 (KJV)
Let your life become a living testimony of the Gospel.
Let people encounter the love, character, compassion and truth of Christ through the way you live.
Preach the Gospel with your words when necessary—but preach it every day with your life.
May our lives be sermons that point people to Jesus Christ.
