BE THE LIGHT.

DON'T COMPETE FOR THE LIGHT: BE THE LIGHT.

Sometimes we find ourselves competing and striving for the very thing we were created to offer and distribute to others.

We compete for recognition, attention, influence, opportunities, positions and visibility—forgetting that God did not call us to fight for the light. He called us to carry the light.

Jesus said:

“Ye are the light of the world. A city that is set on an hill cannot be hid.”
— Matthew 5:14 (KJV)

Light does not compete with darkness.
Light simply shines.

A candle does not struggle to prove that it is brighter than another candle. When it is lit, it gives light.

Likewise, you don't need to compete with another person's calling, success, ministry, gift, influence or opportunity. What God has placed inside you is meant to bless, illuminate, inspire and empower others.

Instead of asking, “How can I become greater than them?” ask:

“How can my light help someone else see?”

The world does not need another competitor for the spotlight.
The world needs people who are willing to shine.

Don't compete for the light.

BE THE LIGHT.
