WHEN THE RAIN REVEALED THE TRUTH.

WHEN THE RAIN REVEALED THE TRUTH.

There was once a clever but crooked businessman who lived near a busy trading route.

He was always looking for a shortcut to wealth.

One day, he noticed that wealthy foreign merchants paid a very high price for zebras because they were rare and beautiful in their homeland.

Instead of building an honest business, he came up with a deceptive plan.

He bought several ordinary donkeys and carefully painted black stripes on their bodies until they looked remarkably like zebras.

To his delight, the merchants were fooled.

They paid him handsomely, and his profits grew quickly.

As word spread, his "zebra business" flourished.

He built a larger house, wore expensive clothes, and proudly boasted about his success.

Many people admired him, not knowing that his wealth was built on deception.

One market day, at the peak of his booming business, he brought a large herd of freshly painted "zebras" to sell.

Merchants gathered from far and wide, eager to buy.

But that afternoon, dark clouds filled the sky.

Without warning, a heavy rainstorm broke out. The rain poured relentlessly upon the animals.

Slowly, the black paint began to run down their sides.

Before everyone's eyes, the beautiful "zebras" turned back into ordinary donkeys.

The crowd stood in shock.

The merchants realized they had been deceived.

Anger spread through the marketplace.

The businessman tried to explain, but it was too late.

The rain had exposed what his words could not hide.

That single storm destroyed years of dishonest gain.

His customers abandoned him.
His reputation collapsed.
His business failed.

The man learned a painful lesson:

"Deception may prosper for a season, but truth will eventually be revealed".

In life, character is more valuable than quick profit.

A lie may travel far, but the truth always catches up.

What is built on dishonesty cannot stand forever.

"For nothing is secret, that shall not be made manifest; neither any thing hid, that shall not be known and come abroad." - Luke 8:17 (KJV).

BEWARE OF "TRUTH " THAT HURTS

BEWARE OF "TRUTH" THAT HURTS:

Beloved brethren, let us talk about "truth."

Jesus said in John 8:32 KJV:

"And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free."

But what if the "truth" being propagated around us is actually bringing enslavement, strife, intimidation, abuse, oppression, or humiliation?

If that is the case, then we need to be very, very wary of such a "truth."

Consider an argument where the "truth" being presented seems designed to create more strife than liberty.

When "truth" is used to stir up hatred, confusion, or division rather than foster understanding and freedom, it is highly likely that such a "truth" is extremely far from the real, liberating Truth.

Be especially cautious of those who frequently use the phrase, "speak the truth and shame the devil."

While it sounds noble, often the "truth" they are referring to is a piece of information intended to bring humiliation, strife, or hatred.

True, liberating Truth builds up: it does not tear down.

Let us seek out and stand for the truth that truly sets us free.

The truth that brings peace, understanding, and genuine liberation, not the kind that leaves a trail of pain, division and hatred.

Real Truth is meant to be spoken in love.

Ephesians 4:15 KJV, says:

"But speaking the truth in love, may grow up into him in all things, which is the head, even Christ:"

Please, please, please: Don't hurt people with "your truth".

If "your truth" is not liberating anyone, keep it to yourself.

It Is Your Right To Know The Truth

IT'S YOUR RIGHT TO KNOW THE TRUTH.

Beloved brethren, today I want us to unpack the following wisdom nugget:

"It's your right to know the truth,
and it's right to know the truth."

Jesus echoed this sentiment in John 8:32 KJV, when He said:

"And ye shall know the truth,
and the truth shall make you free".

Why is The Truth so important?

1. Empowerment:
Truth empowers people.

It allows us to make informed decisions, understand our reality, and navigate the complexities of life with clarity and confidence.

2. Freedom:
As Jesus proclaimed, truth sets us free.

It liberates us from ignorance, deception, and the chains of misinformation.

3. Foundation of Justice:
Truth is the bedrock of justice.

Without truth, there can be no fair trials, no accountability, and no resolution of conflicts

4. Growth:
Truth fosters personal and societal growth.

It encourages critical thinking, challenges assumptions, and opens doors to new perspectives and possibilities.

Knowing the truth is so refreshing and thoroughly empowering.

Let us embrace the power of truth, and strive to build a world where truth prevails and freedom flourishes.
