Rita Marley

This is Rita Marley, the widow of the legendary original Reggae musician, Bob Marley.

Rita has found both spiritual and cultural affinity with Ghana. Having lived in Ghana for over two decades, Rita Marley acquired a Ghanaian citizenship in 2013 with a royal Ghanaian local name, Nana Afua Abodea. She's installed as a Queen Mother in Ghana.

She has her own house in Ghana where she lives happily with her family since 1990s.
Interestingly, Rita established a foundation in Ghana which has been supporting in the area of education and nutritional programme for children.

She has tremendously contributed to the Music Industry by establishing a studio in Accra in the memory of the husband, Bob Marley called "Studio One."
