DON'T EXPECT A FAIR WORLD.

DON'T EXPECT A FAIR WORLD.

The game of life is not always fair.

Not everyone will treat you the way you treat them, and not everyone will appreciate the good you do for them.

If you want to protect your peace, live prepared for unfairness from anywhere and from anybody.

Sometimes, the very people you respect, support, trust, and treat well may suddenly turn against you.

Those you helped may misunderstand you.

Those you honoured may dishonour you.

Those you stood with may abandon you when you need them most.

Live ready.
Not bitter, but wiser.
Not suspicious, but discerning.
Not hostile, but emotionally prepared.

Do not allow another person's unfairness to steal your peace, change your character, or turn your heart into a home for bitterness.

You cannot control how people treat you, but you can control how you respond.

You do not have to react to every provocation, explain yourself to everyone, or fight every battle.

Guard your heart. Protect your peace.

Keep doing what is right, even when others do what is wrong.

Remember, your peace is too precious to be surrendered to people's changing attitudes.

Let God be your defender, wisdom your guide, and self-control your strength.

“Keep thy heart with all diligence; for out of it are the issues of life.” — Proverbs 4:23 (KJV)

Expect fairness, but prepare for unfairness.

Give love, but exercise discernment.

Do good, but do not make your peace dependent on people's appreciation.

Above all, keep your heart right before God.

Stay peaceful. Stay prayerful. Stay wise. Keep moving forward!
