PRAY TO STILLNESS.

PRAY INTO STILLNESS.

Prayer is not only about asking God to change our circumstances.

Sometimes, prayer is about allowing God to change us in the midst of our circumstances.

When you pray, keep praying until the noise within you becomes quiet.

Pray until anxiety gives way to peace,
fear gives way to faith,
confusion gives way to clarity,
and restlessness gives way to stillness.

There are battles that cannot be won by worrying about them.
There are questions that cannot be answered by overthinking them.
There are burdens that become lighter when we learn to place them in the hands of God.

Pray into stillness.

A praying heart gradually learns to trust God, even when the answer has not yet come.

Regular prayer does not mean that we will have no challenges; it means that we do not have to face those challenges with a troubled heart.

“Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on thee: because he trusteth in thee.”
— Isaiah 26:3 (KJV)

Take your worries to God.
Take your fears to God.
Take your unanswered questions to God.
Take your burdens to God.

And then be still.

Sometimes the greatest answer to prayer is not an immediate change in our circumstances, but a quietness within our soul that tells us, .....“God is still in control.”

Pray until you find your stillness.
Pray until you find your peace.
