LEADERSHIP LESSONS- THE EAGLE AND THE SPARROWS.
One morning, a group of sparrows noticed an eagle sitting quietly on a high cliff.
One sparrow laughed and said, "Why are you wasting your time up there? Come down and enjoy life with us."
Another added, "We are busy, noisy, and always moving. You are just sitting there."
The eagle smiled but said nothing.
A few moments later, a powerful wind swept across the valley.
The sparrows struggled against the storm, flapping their wings in panic as they searched for shelter.
The eagle spread its mighty wings and rose even higher.
Instead of fighting the wind, it used the wind to soar above the storm.
Great leaders understand what others do not.
They do not react to every distraction or criticism.
They prepare themselves, remain focused, and when challenges come, they rise above them.
Leadership is not about making the loudest noise.
It is about having the vision, wisdom, and courage to soar when others are struggling.
"Where there is no vision, the people perish:....." — Proverbs 29:18 (KJV)
May God grant us the vision to lead wisely, the patience to prepare diligently, and the courage to rise above every storm.
