WHERE THERE IS NO VISION, PEOPLE PERISH.

“Where there is no vision, the people perish: .....”. – Proverbs 29:18 KJV

The word “vision” here does not merely refer to personal dreams, ambitions, or goals. 

It refers to God’s guidance, revealed truth, prophetic instructions, and spiritual direction.

When people lack God’s guidance:

√They lose moral restraint.

√They become spiritually careless.

√They drift into confusion and disorder.

√They make decisions based solely on human wisdom and emotions.

The word “perish” also mean becoming unruly, unrestrained, undisciplined, disorderly, uncouth, uncultured, uncultivated etc 

A society, family, church, or individual without God’s direction eventually loses focus and stability.

We see this throughout Scripture.

Whenever Israel ignored God’s guidance they fell into sin, bondage, and suffering. 

May every one of us encounter a fresh vision this month.
