Let God Teach Our Children

Let God Teach Our Children:

In the book of Isaiah, we read these beautiful words:

"I will teach all your children, and they will enjoy great peace" (Isaiah 54:13 NLT).

As parents, we want our children to grow up in the paths of righteousness, to walk in the ways of the Lord, and to experience the fullness of His blessings.

But so often, we try to take on this task alone, relying on our own limited understanding and abilities.

God is reminding us today that it is He, and He alone, who can truly teach our children to peace and prosperity.

For His ways are higher than our ways, and His thoughts are greater than our thoughts (Isaiah 55:9).

When we surrender our children to the loving guidance of our Heavenly Father, we open the door for them to receive the greatest education and the most enduring peace.

However, we often find ourselves frustrated, by the  behaviours and the choices of our children.

We try to correct them, to discipline them, to guide them, and yet, sometimes it feels as if we are banging our heads against a wall.

Why?

Because we are trying to do the work of God, without His power and His wisdom.

But when we humble ourselves and allow God to be the “Head Teacher” of our children, we begin to see a remarkable transformation.

God knows the deepest things of a human heart.

He knows the unique strengths and weaknesses of each child. And He is able to tailor His instruction and His discipline in a way that speaks directly to their souls individually.

The journey to raising godly children is not easy.

• There will be challenges,
• There will be setbacks, and,
• There will be times when we feel utterly overwhelmed.

But if we trust God, and allow Him to be the Head Teacher of our children, we will witness miracles and wonders.

God has promised,

"I will teach all your children, and they will enjoy great peace."

Let us stand on this promise.

Let us commit ourselves to partnering with Him in nurturing and guiding our precious children.

In doing so, we will not only spare ourselves countless headaches, but we will also be ushering our children into the abundant blessings that God has in store for each of them.

Let God teach your children. They will enjoy peace and prosperity.

Our main labour would be to  direct our children to God, for God to teach them.
