A Poem On Floods In Kenya

A Poem to Comfort and Encourage those Affected by the Recent Floods in Kenya:

Amidst the Raging Tides

My heart weeps for your sorrows,
As the waters rise and swallow.
Loved ones lost, homes now gone,
Businesses ruined, a future unknown.

Yet in the darkest of night,
A glimmer of hope shines bright.
For though the floods bring despair,
Remember, my dear, God is there.

Though your path is now obscured,
Know that your pain shall be cured.
The waters will recede, the skies will clear,
And a better tomorrow, I promise, will appear.

For even amidst the raging tides,
The strength of the human spirit will prevail,
And upon this rock, you shall not fail.

Take solace in the bonds that endure,
And know that your recovery is surely secure.
Though the journey ahead may seem bleak,
Hold tight to hope, and the future you will reap.

For in the end, the floods will subside,
And a new dawn will rise to guide.
So let not your hearts be troubled or dismayed.
