Process Your Resources, To Maximise Their Benefits:

Today we look at the words of wisdom found in Proverbs 12:27 KJV. 

"The slothful man roasteth not that which he took in hunting: but the substance of a diligent man is precious."

In this verse, we see a stark contrast between the lazy man and the diligent man. 

The lazy man, having gone through the effort of hunting, fails to make the most of his catch. 

He does not take the time to prepare, process and cook the meat. He eats it raw leaving the remainder to waste. 

In contrast, the diligent man recognizes the value of what he has obtained and ensures that it is properly processed, utilized and preserved.

This principle applies not only to the physical resources but also to the spiritual blessings that God has bestowed upon us. 

How often do we find ourselves letting our blessings go untapped, failing to fully maximize their potential?

My friends, we are called to be good stewards of all that God has given us. 

Whether it is:

• The food we have harvested, 

• The talents we have been endowed with, or 

• The opportunities that come our way.

We must approach them with a spirit of diligence and purpose.

It is easy to become complacent, to take our blessings for granted, and to let them slip through our fingers. 

The diligent man, recognizes the value of his substance and works tirelessly to make the most of it.

As we reflect on this passage, let us ask ourselves:

• Are we making the most of the resources and blessings that God has entrusted to us?

• Are we processing and utilizing them to their fullest potential?

The choice is ours. 

We can either be like the slothful man, who squanders his opportunities, or we can be like the diligent man, whose substance is precious because he has taken time to make the most of what he has been given.

Be good a steward of your live, your time, and your resources.

Leave laziness to lazy people. They have energy to hunt, but no sense, and no time to cook.

Take time to cook what you have struggled to hunt.

Preserve what remains. 

Process your resources to maximise their benefits.

That is diligence!
