Those With More Will Be Given More

The Irony Of Reality
Those with more will be given more. Jesus affirms that in Mark 4:25 and repeats it in other scriptures.
Mark 4:25 -
For he that hath, to him shall be given: and he that hath not, from him shall be taken even that which he hath.

Repeated also in:
Matthew 13:12 -  For whosoever hath, to him shall be given, and he shall have more abundance: but whosoever hath not, from him shall be taken away even that he hath.

Luke 8:18 - Take heed therefore how ye hear: for whosoever hath, to him shall be given; and whosoever hath not, from him shall be taken even that which he seemeth to have.

These scriptures sound unfair. A fair deal would be those who do not have should be given some.

Prophet Haggai demonstrates to us that it is quite in order for those who have to get more.
Haggai 1:5 – 6
5 Now therefore thus saith the LORD of hosts; Consider your ways.
6 Ye have sown much, and bring in little; ye eat, but ye have not enough; ye drink, but ye are not filled with drink; ye clothe you, but there is none warm; and he that earneth wages earneth wages to put it into a bag with holes.

From these scriptures we notice that increase has very little to do with what is coming in as it has with what is happening with what has already been received.

No one will continue pouring resources into a bag with holes.

What Actions To Take To Seal Holes
  1. Look for what is creating the holes
    Proverbs 27:23 -
Be thou diligent to know the state of thy flocks, and look well to thy herds
  2. Repair the holes (Internal Controls)
    - Stop borrowing
    Proverbs 22:7 -
The rich ruleth over the poor, and the borrower is servant to the lender.
  3. Plan your resources
Make simple and easy to use budgets
    Proverbs 24:3 – 4
3 Through wisdom is an house builded; and by understanding it is established:
4 And by knowledge shall the chambers be filled with all precious and pleasant riches.
  4. Work hand
    Proverbs 10:4 -
He becometh poor that dealeth with a slack hand: but the hand of the diligent maketh rich.
  5. Sustain Righteousness
    Proverbs 8:20 – 21
20 I lead in the way of righteousness, in the midst of the paths of judgment:
21 That I may cause those that love me to inherit substance; and I will fill their treasures.
