Winners’ Chapel International - Nyeri

Wednesday – 13th April 2011.

Prophetic Focus:  Financial Fortune is My Heritage” Deuteronomy 8:18

TOPIC – Walking In Financial Fortune - PII
The Bibles tells us to look for examples to follow.
Isaiah 51:2
“Look unto Abraham your father, and unto Sarah that bare you: for I called him alone, and blessed him, and increased him.

Hebrew 6:12 -That ye be not slothful, but followers of them who through faith and patience inherit the promises.

Follower-ship is demonstrated by doing the same works as set by the person you are following.
John 8:39 .. Jesus saith unto them, If ye were Abraham's children, ye would do the works of Abraham.

Last Wednesday we saw that Abraham was:
  1. A spiritual man (Gen.12: 1-3, I Cor.2: 14, Rev.1: 10)
  2. Abraham upheld financial integrity and would not receive bribe. (Gen. 14:21-23)
  3. Abraham had prosperity mentality (Gen. 13:14-15, Pr. 23:7)

Today, we look at other attributes exhibited by Abraham:
  1. Abraham was a man of faith
    Romans 4:3 - ..
Abraham believed God, and it was counted unto him for righteousness.
    Romans 4:20-
He staggered not at the promise of God through unbelief; but was strong in faith, giving glory to God
Hebrews 11:6 - But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him
    James 1:6-8
6 But let him ask in faith, nothing wavering. For he that wavereth is like a wave of the sea driven with the wind and tossed.
7 For let not that man think that he shall receive any thing of the Lord.
8 A double minded man is unstable in all his ways.
  2. Abraham always depended on God’s guidance
    Gen.12: 1
    – “Abraham instructed by God to leave His fathers house”

    Isaiah 48:17-
Thus saith the LORD, thy Redeemer, the Holy One of Israel; I am the LORD thy God which teacheth thee to profit, which leadeth thee by the way that thou shouldest go.

    Isaiah 48:21-
And they thirsted not when he led them through the deserts: he caused the waters to flow out of the rock for them: he clave the rock also, and the waters gushed out.

Psalms 23:1-6 – “The LORD is my shepherd; I shall not want”
