God Bless Kenya: God Bless Her People.

My dear Kenyans, we find ourselves in a season of great turmoil and unrest in this Nation that is very unique in many ways.

Our nation is gripped by a Toxic Political and Social Environment marked by Anger, Mistrust, Malice, Fake Promises, Unrealistic Expectations, Political Manipulations, External Influences, Corruption, Unpatriotic Spirit, Greed and Unfaithfulness. 

According to my little experience, It is clear that a change of Political Leadership alone will not bring the lasting solutions we so desperately need. 

The time has come for us to:

• Pause, 

• Re-examine ourselves deeply, and

• Agree to work together, despite how uncomfortable it may be.

I am convinced beyond doubt, if we take the following five (5) steps among many others, God will revive this country and change our trajectory for good.

Point 1: Acknowledge our Brokenness and Need for Repentance

"If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land." (2 Chronicles 7:14)

We must first acknowledge our individual and collective brokenness before God and one another. 

We have all played a role in contributing to the current state of our nation. It is time for us to humble ourselves, repent of our wicked ways, and seek God's face for the healing and restoration of our land.

Point 2: Commit to Unity and Reconciliation

"Behold, how good and how pleasant it is for brethren to dwell together in unity!" (Psalm 133:1)

Lasting change can only come when we are united as a people. 

We must set aside our differences, our political affiliations, and our personal agendas, and commit to working together for the common good of our nation. 

Reconciliation is the foundation upon which we can build a stronger, more resilient Kenya.

Point 3: Embrace Forgiveness and Compassion

"And be ye kind one to another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God for Christ's sake hath forgiven you." (Ephesians 4:32)

In order to move forward, we must be willing to forgive one another and extend compassion, even to those who have wronged us. 

Holding on to bitterness and resentment will only serve to perpetuate the cycle of division and conflict. 

Let us choose the path of forgiveness and grace, which will pave the way for true healing and restoration.

Point 4: Pursue Accountability and Transparency

"Ye shall do no unrighteousness in judgment: thou shalt not respect the person of the poor, nor honour the person of the mighty: but in righteousness shalt thou judge thy neighbour." (Leviticus 19:15)

As we work towards a better future for our nation, we must demand accountability and transparency from our leaders and institutions. 

We must be willing to hold ourselves and one another accountable, regardless of our social or political status. Only then can we build a Kenya that is truly just and equitable for all.

Point 5: Embrace a Long-term Perspective

"But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint." (Isaiah 40:31)

Meaningful and lasting change takes time. 

A Nation is not fixed like a cup of instant coffee. 

We must be willing to exercise patience and perseverance as we work towards a better future for our nation. 

Let us not grow weary in the face of challenges, but continue to wait upon the Lord, trusting that He will renew our strength and guide us to the restoration and unity we so deeply desire.

In conclusion my dear Kenyans, the path forward may not be easy, but it is one we must walk together. 

Let us humbly acknowledge our brokenness, commit to unity and reconciliation, embrace forgiveness and compassion, pursue accountability and transparency, and embrace a long-term perspective. 

As we do so, may God heal and restore our beloved nation of Kenya.

• Kenya will not scatter. 

• Kenya will stand.

• Kenya will thrive again.
