Living Right, In A Wrong World.
Beloved brethren, today I want us to be encouraged and empowered to "Live Right in a Wrong World".
Two Scriptures in New Living Translation (NLT) Bible version pricked my heart this morning.
1 Peter 2:12, 15 NLT reads:
12. Be careful to live properly among your unbelieving neighbors. Then even if they accuse you of doing wrong, they will see your honorable behavior, and they will give honor to God when he judges the world.
15. It is God’s will that your honorable lives should silence those ignorant people who make foolish accusations against you.
As followers of Christ, we are called to live with purpose, intention and integrity:
even among those who do not share our faith.
When we conduct ourselves with integrity, honour and respect, even those who may make evil or foolish accusations against us will ultimately glorify God.
When we face wrong accumulations, rather than retaliate or defend ourselves, we can trust that our honourable character will speak volumes on our behalf.
In a world full of negativity, envy and conflict, let us shine the light of Christ through our lifestyles of grace, kindness, and steadfast faith.
May your honourable character silence your critics.
May you be a shining example in a dark world.
