Ever since the Holy Ghost instituted the annual 21-day prayer
and fasting in this commission, it has continued to generate diverse
testimonies for individuals, families, careers, businesses and the commission
as a whole. It has also boosted the spiritual lives of Winners. Today the
annual prayer and fasting has become the spiritual platform for activating the
fulfillment of the prophetic word for each year.
Prophetically, God has ordained this year our year of
glory and we must rise up to destroy every band of wickedness that may want to
resist our access to the Waves of Glory this
year.
However we understand from scriptures that until the
God of vengeance shows up, the wicked may never give up (Ps 94:1-7/ 21-23). Also
remember that until God unleashed His vengeance upon Egypt, Pharaoh never gave
up
(Ex11:1-7, Ex 12:12/29-33/41)
Remember, Jesus taught us on vengeance prayer when he spoke
about a King who neither fears God nor regard men and there came a woman crying
unto Him; avenge me of my adversaries, but this wicked king will not give heed
to her. But at a point, this king had
to bow saying:
“…….Though I
fear not God, nor regard man; yet because this widow troubleth me, I will
avenge her, lest by her continual coming she weary me. And the Lord said, Hear what the unjust judge
saith. And shall not God avenge his own elect, which cry day and night unto
him, though he bear long with them?.......” Lk 18:1-8

Also know that we are in the last
days; we are in the days of vengeance of the Lord – Is
61:1-2/ Lk 4:17-18
· The
day of vengeance is in God’s heart – the year of the redeemed has come – Is
63:4
· Even
though God had programmed to set Israel free and had also set a prophetic
agenda for their freedom; And God had even gone further to set a time for their
glorious liberty. Yet until vengeance was executed, God’s plan could not come
through. There was a 30 year delay but vengeance eventually had its way.

Therefore as we invoke the vengeance of God, an end
must come to all forces of stagnation, frustration and delay this year in our
lives, as it written;
”Because
sentence against an evil work is not executed speedily, therefore the heart of
the sons of men is fully set in them to do evil.” Ecc 8:11
But
why vengeance prayer? We may ask.
Vengeance Prayer is key to all supernatural
breakthroughs – Is 61:2-5, Lk 11:21-22, Ps
7:9-13
It is interesting to note that why defining the
purpose of fasting, the bible declares, it is first and foremost to loose the
band of wickedness and to undo the heavy burdens. This simply means to bring an end to the wickedness of the wicked
through vengeance prayer among others. (Is 58:6)
Every Winner must secure vengeance on all forces of the
wicked that may be set to derail God’s glorious agenda for our lives this year.
We observed that a number of spiritual blessings that
accompany prayer and fasting are enumerated in Is 58:6-12. Everyone is
encouraged to look through those verses of scripture and maximize the blessings
of the 21 days of prayer and fasting.
Furthermore, in the parable of the wheat and the
tares, Jesus taught that a man sowed good seed into his field and while men
slept his enemy came and sowed tares. But when asked by His servants, have you
not sown good seeds into your field, why has it grown tares. He responded:
“.....An enemy hath done this......” Matt
13:28
Every time we go asleep spiritually, the enemy
continues to have a field day
We must rise up to stop the wicked – Lk 11:21-22
We must engage importunity in prayer to stop the enemy
(Lk 18:1-8)
And because prayer and fasting enhances our spiritual
authority for conquest, we must take full advantage of this 21-day prayer and
fasting to stop the wickedness of the wicked against our lives and this
commission. (Is 58:6-10/ Matt 17:21)
We can destroy the hold of the devil and his agents
through the power of prayer and fasting (Lk 4:14/32/46)
Remember, the prophetic focus for the month has
already been declared – I WILL AVENGE MY ELECT SPEEDILY –Lk 18:1-8
Let us therefore arise and take full and speedy delivery of
the fulfillment of the prophetic Waves of
Glory ordained for this year -1Tim 1:18 (Deut 2:24/ Matt 11:12)
