TOPIC – Violent Prayer and Fasting For Vengeance

We are fasting for 21 days for many things among them:

INTRODUCTION

1.Vengeance Belong To God:
Romans 12:19 - Beloved, never avenge yourselves, but leave it to the wrath of God; for it is written, "Vengeance is mine, I will repay, says the Lord." (RSV)

2.Until The God Of Vengeance Shows Up, The Wicked May Never Give Up!
Psalms 94:1 – 2
1 O LORD God, to whom vengeance belongeth; O God, to whom vengeance belongeth, shew thyself.
2 Lift up thyself, thou judge of the earth: render a reward to the proud.

Example

Until God unleashed His vengeance upon Egypt, Pharaoh never gave up - Exodus 11:1- And the LORD said unto Moses, Yet will I bring one plague more upon Pharaoh, and upon Egypt; afterwards he will let you go hence: when he shall let you go, he shall surely thrust you out hence altogether.

3.This Is Our Year Of Glory And We Must Not Give Any Place To The Devil To Corrupt Our Glorious Destiny This Year
Ephesians 4:27 - Neither give place to the devil.

4.Remember, ‘while men slept His enemy came and sowed tare’ -
– Matthew 13:24-25
24 Another parable put he forth unto them, saying, The kingdom of heaven is likened unto a man which sowed good seed in his field:
25 But while men slept, his enemy came and sowed tares among the wheat, and went his way.
1Timothy 4:8 - For bodily exercise profiteth little: but godliness is profitable unto all things, having promise of the life that now is, and of that which is to come

VIOLENT PRAYER AND FASTING

1.Ceaseless In Prayer Is A Requirement For Invoking Vengeance
Luke 18:1-8
7 - And shall not God avenge his own elect, which cry day and night unto him, though he bear long with them
8 - I tell you that he will avenge them speedily.

2.Certain Wicked Forces Will Not Loose Their Grip Except By Prayer And Fasting
Matthew 17:18, 21 
18 - And Jesus rebuked the devil; and he departed out of him: and the child was cured from that very hour.
21 - Howbeit this kind goeth not out but by prayer and fasting.

Jesus Fasted Violently For 40 Days And Had these Results To Show

1.He Returned In The Power Of The Spirit.
Luke 4:14 - And Jesus returned in the power of the Spirit into Galilee: and there went out a fame of him through all the region round about.

2.His Words Were With Power –
Luke 4:32 - And they were astonished at his doctrine: for his word was with power.

3.He Was Empowered To Destroy Devils –
Luke 4:36 - And they were all amazed, and spake among themselves, saying, What a word is this! for with authority and power he commandeth the unclean spirits, and they come out.

Prayer and Fasting makes you a COMMANDER
