DON'T LET THEIR NOISE SPOIL YOUR VOICE.
Beloved brethren, I want to confess that I loved reggae music in my youth days.
Bob Marley and Lucky Dube, their voices and their songs would stir my nerves in ways I can't describe.
This morning, I was in a matatu and they played a Rita Marley song:
"So much things to say"
This song reminded me, that we have all encountered those individuals who seem to have an endless supply of commentary about our lives.
Their words can sting, leaving us feeling hurt, confused, or even angry.
However, it is important to remember that these criticisms often times stem from negative emotions within themselves.
Some of these people are suffering from:
1.Envy:
They may covet what we have or who we are.
2.Jealousy:
Their own insecurities fuel their need to bring us down.
3.Ignorance:
They may lack understanding or context surrounding our actions.
4.Malice:
They may be harbouring ill will towards us for personal reasons.
Call it PG, Personal Grudge
5.Hatred:
In some cases, their words and gossip may be driven by deep-seated animosity against us.
It is also important to recognize that some people are simply unhappy with themselves, and seek solace in gossiping about others.
Their negativity is a reflection of their own internal struggles.
Don't allow the negativity of others to distract you from your own path.
Focus on your own growth, your own happiness, and your own unique journey.
Remember, your worth is not defined by the opinions of others.
Let them have their opinion.
May be that is their Therapy.
