GRATITUDE: MORE THAN JUST "THANK YOU"
Beloved brethren, we often hear the phrase "Practice Gratitude," and it is easy to think that is simply saying "thank you".
But true gratitude runs much deeper than a polite phrase.
It is a feeling of deep appreciation for the good in our lives, a recognition of the gifts, big and small, that we receive.
It is a posture of the heart that acknowledges the source of those blessings, whether it is from a person, from a circumstance, or from God.
Gratitude is not just a verbal expression: it is a way of being.
Gratitude go beyond just words.
The Bible beautifully illustrates this in 1 Thessalonians 5:18 (KJV):
"In every thing give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you."
Please note that the Bible does not just say "Say Thanks", but it say "Give Thanks".
This implies a deeper, more active expression of gratitude.
This suggests a continuous attitude of thankfulness that is visible in our lives.
So, let's move beyond simply saying "thank you."
Let us cultivate a spirit of gratitude that overflows into our thoughts, words, and actions.
Let us truly give thanks, not just with our lips, but with our hearts and our lives.
Now You Know !!!.
