A Rock Higher Than I.
Beloved brethren, today I want to encourage someone who may be going through some overwhelming moments in his or her life.
David had such a moment in his life, and he overcame with a simple but powerful prayer that is still applicable in our lives today.
The prayer is in Psalms 61:2 KJV,
"From the end of the earth will I cry unto thee, when my heart is overwhelmed:
lead me to the rock that is higher than I."
No matter how far we may feel from God, no matter how lost and alone we may be, our Heavenly Father hears our cries.
In moments of overwhelming pain, or uncertainty, we can lift our voices to the One who stands firm as an unshakable rock - Higher and Mightier than any earthly trial.
He is a solid foundation where we can find refuge, strength, and guidance.
When the burdens of life weigh heavy upon our shoulders, let us remember to turn our eyes upward for peace and comfort.
God will always lead us to Himself, the Everlasting Rock.
No challenge, no storm or no principality that is higher or stronger than Him.
Make Him your refuge and your shelter.
Call Him from anywhere, anytime, and in any circumstance.
