Attitude Of Gratitude

Winners’ Chapel International - Nyeri

End Year Thanksgiving Service - Sunday – 18th December 2011
Prophetic Focus:  Waves Of GloryHaggai 2:3 - 9
TOPIC – The Attitude Of Gratitude
This is our season of Glory.
1.     But Gratitude must be in place for the Glory to come
Our glory cannot come without being thankful
2.     Ingratitude is a major reason for stagnation.
A man who does not give thanks does not move forward no matter how much he prays.
3.     It takes gratitude to become great
A man that is not grateful does not live a great life
4.     People get depressed for NOT BEING where they expect to be; they forget to thank God for where they are already.
Until we thank God for where we are, we cannot move to where we are meant to be.

When you see a Christian who prays very well and can fast like a machine but is not moving forward, check his gratitude level. It must be very low.

Until you thank God for where He has brought you, He will not take you to where He has planned to take you.
5.      Your sweat will reduce and your glory will show when you live a life of gratitude.
6.     Every time the devil reminds you of what God has not done, show him what God has already done

Psalms 92:1 - It is a good thing to give thanks unto the LORD, and to sing praises unto thy name, O most High:

Thanksgiving attracts good things.
It is the cheapest way to consistently and continuously attract good.
Facts About Thanksgiving
1.     Thanksgiving Has Two Main Aspects
(a)  Thank GOD for His blessings.
(b) Thank MEN whom God has used to bring the blessings to you.

When you THINK you THANK. A “THOUGHTIVE” man is a THANKFUL man
2.     Thanksgiving Should Come From The Heart
Malachi 2:1 -2
1 And now, O ye priests, this commandment is for you.
2 If ye will not hear, and if ye will not lay it to heart, to give glory unto my name, saith the LORD of hosts, I will even send a curse upon you, and I will curse your blessings: yea, I have cursed them already, because ye do not lay it to heart.
3.     Mention To God And People The Things They Have Done
Isaiah 63:7 - I will MENTION the loving-kindnesses of the LORD, and the praises of the LORD, according to all that the LORD hath bestowed on us, and the great goodness toward the house of Israel, which he hath bestowed on them according to his mercies, and according to the multitude of his loving-kindnesses.

ANOTHER TRANSLATION SAYS - Isaiah 63:7 - I WILL GIVE NEWS of the mercies of the Lord, and his great acts, even all the things the Lord has done for us, in his great grace to the house of Israel; even all he has done for us in his unnumbered mercies. (BBE)

Psalms 105:1 - O give thanks unto the LORD; call upon his name: make known his deeds among the people.
