TOPIC – The Place Of Women In The Church

Every woman has a place in the Church.
Their place is defined by their responsibilities.

What is responsibility
Having the job or duty of doing something, or caring for somebody.
- You take blame if something goes wrong.

What are our responsibilities in the church.

1. Prayers
   Luke 18:1 - And he spake a parable unto them to this end, that men ought always to pray, and not to faint;
   I Thessalonians 5:17 - Pray without ceasing.
   
   Jesus is perfect example
   Luke 11:1 - And it came to pass, that, as he was praying in a certain place, when he ceased, one of his disciples said unto him, Lord, teach us to pray, as John also taught his disciples.
   The disciples wanted to arrange their thoughts not to be thoughtless.
   
   JESUS – Our perfect Example
   Example 1 - Jesus Could do nothing without the help of God
   John 5:30 - I can of mine own self do nothing: as I hear, I judge: and my judgment is just; because I seek not mine own will, but the will of the Father which hath sent me.
   
   Example 2 - Jesus prayed when being baptized
   Luke 3:21 - Now when all the people were baptized, it came to pass, that Jesus also being baptized, and praying, the heaven was opened,
   
   Example 3 - Jesus Prayed before appointing the 12 disciples
   Luke 6:12 – 13
   12- And it came to pass in those days, that he went out into a mountain to pray, and continued all night in prayer to God.
   13 - And when it was day, he called unto him his disciples: and of them he chose twelve, whom also he named apostles;
   
   Why Jesus prayed
   John 5:30 - I can of mine own self do nothing: as I hear, I judge: and my judgment is just; because I seek not mine own will, but the will of the Father which hath sent me.
   
   You cannot be effective in the work of God without God’s help!!
   
   

What to pray for us a woman

1. Revelation
   Luke 11:3 - Give us day by day our daily bread.
   
   Luke 4: 4 - And Jesus answered him, saying, It is written, That man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word of God.
   
   Physical Bread and Spiritual bread are equally important.
   
   
2. Pray for others
   Galatians 6:2 - Bear ye one another's burdens, and so fulfil the law of Christ.
   
   Pray for Single Mothers
   Let us pray for our single mothers:
   
   It is not their fault. Men are slowly losing their place in the society.
