JEZEBEL: THE OTHER SIDE PEOPLE WANT TO IGNORE. 

Beloved brethren, many times when we hear the name Jezebel, the wife of King Ahab, we only think of wickedness, idolatry, and manipulation. 

But like every person, Jezebel also had another side that is often forgotten. 

She was a woman of strength, courage, and boldness. 

She stood firm for what she believed in and never wavered, even in the face of opposition. 

She was a passionate protector of her husband, her family, her religion and her people.

A woman who knew how to use her position, her influence and her resources to offer leadership.

Even today, women who know how to utilise their wisdom, their exposure, their capabilities are normally labelled "Jezebel".

Any woman who may appear slightly stronger than men is quickly labelled "Jezebel".

Even in this generation, a woman who appears to know her rights and is ready to defend them, is labelled a Jezebel. 

It is important to know that every person has both weaknesses and strengths: Bad side and good side.

Let us learn to see both sides of people’s stories, remembering that even those with great flaws may still hold qualities we can learn from.

While we should learn from Jezebel mistakes, we can also admire her boldness, her strength and her leadership.

Note, if people have ever called you Jezebel as a woman: it may be out of Jealousy.
