WORK, WORK, WORK IN A RELATIONSHIP

WORK, WORK, WORK: IN RELATIONSHIPS.

Beloved brethren, Jesus told us to learn from the fig tree - Mark 13:28.

Today, I was in a Matatu in Kitengela, and they were playing the song, WORK, WORK, WORK by Rehana.

I have heard this song played severally without caring to listen to its lyrics.

Today something within me pushed me to listen to the song and google for the lyrics.

Really funny for a Pastor !!!

Beneath the catchy rhythm, lies a real-life story of emotional labour, unreciprocated love, and the daily struggles of trying to hold a relationship together.

Sometimes you may find yourself in a relationship where you are putting a lot of work: loving, forgiving, understanding.
While the other person is just taking everything for granted.

There is a lot work that goes into a working relationship.

And when the work feels one-sided, even the strongest heart gets tired.

A relationship can really be a burden when one partner is irresponsible.

One person will be working,  working, working, while the other partner is freaking careless about the relationship.

Analyse your relationships today.

If it feels like WORK, WORK, WORK: think twice.

Don’t beg to be valued.
Don't  beg to be loved.
