Happy Easter Monday

HAPPY EASTER MONDAY.

Beloved brethren, this Easter Monday, I want to encourage someone with the following scripture. 

Ephesians 4:8 KJV: 

"Wherefore he saith, When he ascended up on high, he led captivity captive, and gave gifts unto men."

As we step into Easter Monday, the echo of Resurrection Sunday still resounds in our hearts. 

The tomb is empty. 

Death is defeated. 

And our Savior is reigning victoriously. 

When He "ascended up on high," He did not just return to heaven quietly: He returned as a conquering King. 

He "led captivity captive," meaning He broke the chains of sin, death, and hell. 

Everything that once held humanity in bondage, Jesus carried it to captivity. 

The enemy no longer holds the keys: Jesus does.

But the beauty does not end there. 

Not only did He defeat the powers of darkness, He "gave gifts unto men." 

Through His victory, He poured out spiritual gifts to His Church.

Gifts of grace, leadership, service, healing, wisdom, power, blessings and so much more. 

These are not just blessings to enjoy, but tools to build His kingdom and reflect His love on earth.

Today, be encouraged:

You are no longer a captive: you are free.

You are no longer powerless: you are gifted.

You are no longer alone: your King is alive and with you.

Rejoice in His victory.

Walk in the freedom He obtained for you.

Serve with the gifts He has given you.
