KENYA IS MOURNING:
It is with profound sadness that we received the news of the passing of General Francis Ogolla, a respected leader and the esteemed Head of the Kenya Defence Forces and Nine other KDF Officers.
General Ogolla dedicated his life to serving our nation with exceptional bravery and distinction. Under his leadership, the Kenya Defence Forces strengthened its capabilities and played a pivotal role in ensuring the security and stability of our nation.
General Ogolla's commitment to duty, his leadership qualities, and his unwavering resolve in the face of challenges will remain an inspiration to us all. His contributions to national and regional security have left an indelible mark that will not be forgotten.
As we mourn these untimely deaths, resulting from a tragic helicopter crash, earlier today, we extend our deepest sympathies to the affected families, friends, and colleagues.
May they find some comfort in knowing that General Ogolla’s legacy and the legacy the other nine officers will live on through the lives they touched and the peace they helped to secure.
