ENCOUNTER WITH DESTINY CLIP

The
Good News is that every child of God has:
Ø A Glorious Destiny
– Rom. 8:29-30/ 2 Pet. 1:3.
Rom 8:29-30. 29For whom he did foreknow, he also did predestinate to be
conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many
brethren. 30Moreover whom he did predestinate, them he also called: and whom he
called, them he also justified: and whom he justified, them he also glorified.
2 Pet.1:3. 3According as his
divine power hath given unto us all things that pertain unto life and
godliness, through the knowledge of him that hath called us to glory and
virtue:
Ø A Prosperous Destiny
– 2 Cor. 8:9/ Rev.5:12.
2 Cor.8:9. 9For ye
know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that, though he was rich, yet for your
sakes he became poor, that ye through his poverty might be rich.
Rev.5:12. 12 Saying with a loud voice, Worthy is the Lamb that was slain
to receive power, and riches, and wisdom, and strength, and honour, and glory,
and blessing.
Ø A Royal Destiny
– Psa.110:1-2/ Rev. 5:9-10.
Psalms.110:1-2. 1The LORD said unto my Lord, Sit thou at my right hand, until
I make thine enemies thy footstool. 2The LORD shall send the rod of thy strength out of Zion: rule
thou in the midst of thine enemies.
Rev.5:9-10. 9And
they sung a new song, saying, Thou art worthy to take the book, and to open the
seals thereof: for thou wast slain, and hast redeemed us to God by thy blood
out of every kindred, and tongue, and people, and nation; 10And
hast made us unto our God kings and priests: and we shall reign on the earth.
Ø An Enviable Destiny
– Gen. 26:12-14/ Gal. 4:28.
Gen 26:12-14. 12Then
Isaac sowed in that land, and received in the same year an hundredfold: and the
Lord blessed him. 13And
the man waxed great, and went forward, and grew until he became very great: 14For he
had possession of flocks, and possessions of herds, and great store of
servants: and the Philistines envied him.
Gal 4:28. 28Now
we, brethren, as Isaac was, are the children of promise
BUT
TO REALIZE AND FULFIL OUR DESTINY, ONE MUST:
Ø BE BORN AGAIN AND REMAIN SO – Jhn 3:3-5.
John.3:3-5. 3Jesus
answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be
born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God. 4Nicodemus
saith unto him, How can a man be born when he is old? can he enter the second
time into his mother's womb, and be born? 5Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a
man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of
God.
Ø BE SPIRITUALLY MINDED – Rom. 8:6/ 1
Cor. 2:12-14
Romans.8:6. 6For to be carnally minded
is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace.
1 Cor.2:12-14. 12Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the
spirit which is of God; that we might know the things that are freely given to
us of God. 13Which things also we speak, not in the words which man's
wisdom teacheth, but which the Holy Ghost teacheth; comparing spiritual things
with spiritual. 14But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of
God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they
are spiritually discerned.
Ø BE COMMITTED TO THE LEADING OF THE SPIRIT –
Isa. 48:21/ Rom. 8:14
Isaiah.48:21. 21And they thirsted not
when he led them through the deserts: he caused the waters to flow out of the
rock for them: he clave the rock also, and the waters gushed out.
Romans.8:14. 14 For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the
sons of God.
Ø STAY IN LOVE WITH GOD – Jhn.15:15/
1 Cor.2:9-10
John.15:15. 15Henceforth I call you not servants; for
the servant knoweth not what his lord doeth: but I have called you friends; for
all things that I have heard of my Father I have made known unto you.
1 Cor.2:9-10. 9But as it is written, Eye hath
not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things
which God hath prepared for them that love him. 10But
God hath revealed them unto us by his Spirit: for the Spirit searcheth all
things, yea, the deep things of God.
Ø BE COMMITTED TO CRAVING FOR INCREASING REVELATION – Isa.29:11-12/ 2Cor.3:18
Isaiah.29:11-12. 11And the vision of all is
become unto you as the words of a book that is sealed, which men deliver to one
that is learned, saying, Read this, I pray thee: and he saith, I cannot; for it
is sealed: 12And the book is
delivered to him that is not learned, saying, Read this, I pray thee: and he
saith, I am not learned.
2 Cor.3:18. 18But we
all, with open face beholding as in a glass the glory of the Lord, are changed
into the same image from glory to glory, even as by the Spirit of the LORD.
Ø BE COMMITTED TO LIFESTYLE OF PRAISE AND WORSHIP –
Psa. 67:5-7/ Hab. 3:17-19
Psalms.67:5-7. 5Let the people praise
thee, O God; let all the people praise thee. 6 Then shall the earth yield her increase; and God, even our
own God, shall bless us. 7God shall bless us; and all the ends of the earth shall fear
him.
Hab.3:17-19. 17Although the fig tree shall not blossom, neither shall fruit
be in the vines; the labour of the olive shall fail, and the fields shall yield
no meat; the flock shall be cut off from the fold, and there shall be no herd
in the stalls: 18Yet
I will rejoice in the LORD, I will joy in the God of my salvation. 19The LORD God is my strength, and he will make my feet like
hinds' feet, and he will make me to walk upon mine high places. To the chief
singer on my stringed instruments.
IN CONCLUSION,
BELIEVERS HAVE A DESTINY OF NO LIMITS IN CHRIST; THEREFORE, EXPECT THE OPENING
OF A NEW CHAPTER TO YOUR LIFE IN THIS PROPHETIC SERVICE – Pro. 4:18/ Jhn 14:12
Prov.4:18. 18But
the path of the just is as the shining light, that shineth more and more unto
the perfect day.
John.14:12. 12Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the
works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do;
because I go unto my Father.
Jesus is Lord!
