Sunday School Teachings - The Power Of Friendship

TEXT: Proverbs 18:24 - A man that hath friends must shew himself friendly: and there is a friend that sticketh closer than a brother.

BIBLICAL CHARACTERS
:  Abraham – He was a friend of God because he believed in God and obeyed God all the time. - James 2:23 And the scripture was fulfilled which saith, Abraham believed God, and it was imputed unto him for righteousness: and he was called the Friend of God.
MEMORY VERSE: Proverbs 27:17 - Iron sharpeneth iron; so a man sharpeneth the countenance (Character) of his friend.
Objective: Help the children learn and understand that friend can make or break someone.
