DAY 1

Introduction:

1.     Curses Are Real
God is the one who started cursing man, the serpent and the ground
Genesis 3:14 – 19
Serpent
14 - And the LORD God said unto the serpent, Because thou hast done this, thou art cursed above all cattle, and above every beast of the field; upon thy belly shalt thou go, and dust shalt thou eat all the days of thy life:

Eve
16 - Unto the woman he said, I will greatly multiply thy sorrow and thy conception; in sorrow thou shalt bring forth children; and thy desire shall be to thy husband, and he shall rule over thee.

Adam
17 And unto Adam he said, Because thou hast hearkened unto the voice of thy wife, and hast eaten of the tree, of which I commanded thee, saying, Thou shalt not eat of it: cursed is the ground for thy sake; in sorrow shalt thou eat of it all the days of thy life;

Ground
17 ….cursed is the ground for thy sake; in sorrow shalt thou eat of it all the days of thy life;

2.     Some Curses Are Generational Curses
Exodus 20:5 - Thou shalt not bow down thyself to them, nor serve them: for I the LORD thy God am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children unto the third and fourth generation of them that hate me;

3. Every Curse Has A Cause:
   Proverbs 26:2 - As the bird by wandering, as the swallow by flying, so the curse causeless shall not come.
   
   Examples - Deuteronomy 27:15 – 26
   15 Cursed be the man that maketh any graven or molten image…..

16 Cursed be he that setteth light by his father or his mother…..

17 Cursed be he that removeth his neighbour's landmark….

18 Cursed be he that maketh the blind to wander out of the way….

19 Cursed be he that perverteth the judgment of the stranger, fatherless, and widow.

20 Cursed be he that lieth with his father's wife; …

21 Cursed be he that lieth with any manner of beast….

22 Cursed be he that lieth with his sister, the daughter of his father, or the daughter of his mother….

23 Cursed be he that lieth with his mother in law…

24 Cursed be he that smiteth his neighbour secretly….

25 Cursed be he that taketh reward to slay an innocent person…

26 Cursed be he that confirmeth not all the words of this law to do them….

4.     You Can Be Delivered From All Curses
Acts 16:30 – 31
30 - And brought them out, and said, Sirs, what must I do to be saved?
31 - And they said, Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved, and thy house.

God is interested with your deliverance together with your house.

Today Is You Day Of Salvation:
2 Corithians 6:2 - ….behold, now is the accepted time; behold, now is the day of salvation.

Types Of Curses

1.     The Curse Of God

2.     The Curse of Man

3.     The Curse of the Law

4.     The Curse of seed time and harvest

THE CURSE OF GOD:
The curse of God is where God Himself curses a man.

Like He cursed Adam and Eve:
Genesis 3:14 – 16

When Does God Curse A Man:

A.    When A Man Worships Other gods
Exodus 20:5 - Thou shalt not bow down thyself to them, nor serve them: for I the LORD thy God am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children unto the third and fourth generation of them that hate me;

B.    When A Man Curse The People Of God
Genesis 12:3 - And I will bless them that bless thee, and curse him that curseth thee: and in thee shall all families of the earth be blessed.

C.     When A Man Trust On Man
Jeremiah 17:5 – 6
5 Thus saith the LORD; Cursed be the man that trusteth in man, and maketh flesh his arm, and whose heart departeth from the LORD.
6 For he shall be like the heath in the desert, and shall not see when good cometh; but shall inhabit the parched places in the wilderness, in a salt land and not inhabited.

D.    When A Man Becomes A Thief
what makes a thief is the act of stealing; it is not the quantity he steals or where he steals.
-A son who steals from a father is a thief
-A wife who steals from a husband is a thief
-A pastor who steal from the church is a thief

Zachariah 5:3 – 4
3 Then said he unto me, This is the curse that goeth forth over the face of the whole earth: for every one that stealeth shall be cut off…...
4 I will bring it forth, saith the LORD of hosts, and it shall enter into the house of the thief, …….: and it shall remain in the midst of his house, and shall consume it with the timber thereof and the stones thereof.

Thieves die miserably.
Gehazi – ended with leprosy
2 Kings 5:27 - The leprosy therefore of Naaman shall cleave unto thee, and unto thy seed for ever. And he went out from his presence a leper as white as snow.

Achan – was stoned to death
Joshua 7:25 - And Joshua said, Why hast thou troubled us? the LORD shall trouble thee this day. And all Israel stoned him with stones, and burned them with fire, after they had stoned them with stones.

Judas – he hanged himself
Matthew 27:5 - And he cast down the pieces of silver in the temple, and departed, and went and hanged himself

DAY 3

5. When A Man Robs God – The curse of not tithing
   Malachi 3:8 – 12
   8 Will a man rob God? Yet ye have robbed me. But ye say, Wherein have we robbed thee? In tithes and offerings.

9 Ye are cursed with a curse: for ye have robbed me, even this whole nation.

10 Bring ye all the tithes into the storehouse, that there may be meat in mine house, and prove me now herewith, saith the LORD of hosts, if I will not open you the windows of heaven, and pour you out a blessing, that there shall not be room enough to receive it.

11 And I will rebuke the devourer for your sakes, and he shall not destroy the fruits of your ground; neither shall your vine cast her fruit before the time in the field, saith the LORD of hosts.

12 And all nations shall call you blessed: for ye shall be a delightsome land, saith the LORD of hosts.

THE CURSE OF MAN:

God has given some categories of people power to curse:

1. Parents
   Ephesians 6:2 – 3
   1 Children, obey your parents in the Lord: for this is right.
   2 Honour thy father and mother; (which is the first commandment with promise;)
   3 That it may be well with thee, and thou mayest live long on the earth.
   
   Proverbs 20:20 - Whoso curseth his father or his mother, his lamp shall be put out in obscure darkness.
   
   Case of Noah cursing the descendant of Ham
   Genesis 9:18 - And the sons of Noah, that went forth of the ark, were Shem, and Ham, and Japheth: and Ham is the father of Canaan.
   Genesis 9:25 - And he said, Cursed be Canaan; a servant of servants shall he be unto his brethren.
   
   Case Of Jacob Cursing Simon And Levi With Anger.
   Genesis 34 – Simon and Levi slaughtered Shechem
   Jacob cursed them in chapter 49
   Genesis 49:5, 7
   5 Simeon and Levi are brethren; instruments of cruelty are in their habitations.
   7 Cursed be their anger, for it was fierce; and their wrath, for it was cruel: I will divide them in Jacob, and scatter them in Israel.
   
   -The same angered followed Moses in Egypt (Exodus 2:11 – 15) and in Mount Sinai (Exodus 32:19)
   
   -Simon and Levi were scattered in Israel. Simon was hang on Judah’s inheritance (Joshua 19:1). Levi did not receive land inheritance.
   
   
   
2. Spiritual Parents
   Hebrews 13:17 - Obey them that have the rule over you, and submit yourselves: for they watch for your souls, as they that must give account, that they may do it with joy, and not with grief: for that is unprofitable for you.
   
   I Corinthians 4:15 - For though ye have ten thousand instructors in Christ, yet have ye not many fathers: for in Christ Jesus I have begotten you through the gospel.
   
   
3. The Prophet
   Elisha cursed 42 children and two she bears devoured them
   2 Kings 2:24 - And he turned back, and looked on them, and cursed them in the name of the LORD. And there came forth two she bears out of the wood, and tare forty and two children of them.
   
   Michal the wife of David remain barren
   2 Samuel 6:23 - Therefore Michal the daughter of Saul had no child unto the day of her death.

THE CURSE OF THE LAW
These are curses that follow people when the break the law or disobey God
Deuteronomy 28:15 – 66

But Christ has delivered us from the curse of the law
Galatians 3:13 - Christ hath redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us:

Whatever is in Deuteronomy 28:15 – 66 is illegal for you if you are in Christ.
Psalms 107:2 - Let the redeemed of the LORD say so, whom he hath redeemed from the hand of the enemy;

THE CURSE OF SEED TIME AND HARVEST
Genesis 8:22 - While the earth remaineth, seedtime and harvest, and cold and heat, and summer and winter, and day and night shall not cease

Galatians 6:7 - Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap.

You Can Be Delivered From All Curses
Acts 16:30 – 31
30 - And brought them out, and said, Sirs, what must I do to be saved?
31 - And they said, Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved, and thy house.

God want to deliver together with your house.
