Cultivating A Life Style Of Celebration

Introduction
We are here to celebrate what God has done in this Church

Every Church Is Built By Christ Himself
Matthew 16:18 - And I say also unto thee, That thou art Peter, and upon this rock I will build my church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.

Christ Is The Head Of The Church
Ephesians 5:23 - ... Christ is the head of the church: and he is the saviour of the body.

Every Church Is On A Mission.
Luke 4:18 - The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he hath anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor; he hath sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised,
·        Heal The Broken Hearted
·        Preach Deliverance To The Captive
·        Recovery Of Sight To The Blind
·        Set At Liberty Those That Are Bruished

These are things that worthy celebrating.

Cultivating a Life Style of Celebration
This is the beginning of your celebration. Your season of Celebration
Isaiah 60:20 (prophetic word)
Thy sun shall no more go down; neither shall thy moon withdraw itself: for the LORD shall be thine everlasting light, and the days of thy mourning shall be ended.
·The days of your morning have ended.
. No more sorrowing,
. No more weeping,
. No more losses
Your Celebrations will not be limited to birthdays and marriage anniversaries only!
WHY DO WE CELEBRATE
  1. We Celebrate To Glorifies God
    1Corithians 6:20
    - For ye are bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God's.

    Psalms 150:6 -
Let every thing that hath breath praise the LORD. Praise ye the LORD.

Every time you are celebrating you are making God Happy
Every time you are sorrowing, you are making God Unhappy (Sad)
  2. We Celebrate To Make Our Heart Glad
    Proverbs 17:22
-A merry heart doeth good like a medicine: but a broken spirit drieth the bones.

Gladness of Heart strengthens the heart → Strong heart makes you courageous → Courage makes you confront battles of life to conquer

Life failure begins with heart failure.

  3. We Celebrate To Access Our Breakthroughs

God will not wait for things to change around you before he tells you to start celebrating in the midst of your challenges.

    Isaiah 54: 1 – 4
1 Sing, O barren, thou that didst not bear; break forth into singing, and cry aloud, thou that didst not travail with child: for more are the children of the desolate than the children of the married wife, saith the LORD.
    2 Enlarge the place of thy tent, and let them stretch forth the curtains of thine habitations: spare not, lengthen thy cords, and strengthen thy stakes;
3 For thou shalt break forth on the right hand and on the left; and thy seed shall inherit the Gentiles, and make the desolate cities to be inhabited.
4 Fear not; for thou shalt not be ashamed: neither be thou confounded; for thou shalt not be put to shame: for thou shalt forget the shame of thy youth, and shalt not remember the reproach of thy widowhood any more.
  4. We Celebrate To Access Fresh Anointing.
    Psalms 92: 1 -
It is a good thing to give thanks unto the LORD, and to sing praises unto thy name, O most High:

Psalms 92:10 - But my horn shalt thou exalt like the horn of an unicorn: I shall be anointed with fresh oil.

People who celebrate do not lack fresh anointing.
Don’t wake up without a song in your heart.

HOW DO YOU SUSTAIN THE CELEBRATION
1. Keep testifying about the goodness of God.
Psalms 119:111
Thy testimonies have I taken as an heritage for ever: for they are the rejoicing of my heart.
Psalms 119:46
I will speak of thy testimonies also before kings, and will not be ashamed.
