Application Of Wisdom In Our Assignments And Life


Proverbs 4:7 - Wisdom is the principal thing; therefore get wisdom: and with all thy getting get understanding.

Proverbs 24:3 -  Through wisdom is an house builded; and by understanding it is established:

What does it take to apply Wisdom?
1.Device your way (Plan)
Proverbs 16:9 -
A man's heart deviseth his way: but the LORD directeth his steps.
Don’t go to God without a plan

2.Know you have the mind of Christ
Christ = The anointed one
1Corithians 2:16
For who hath known the mind of the Lord, that he may instruct him? But we have the mind of Christ.
You have an anointed mind

3.Accept responsibility
Proverbs 27:23
- Be thou diligent to know the state of thy flocks, and look well to thy herds.

4.Locate relevant and adequate facts
- Be current
- Be Informed
- Read Books
- Make observations
- Ask Questions
- Be teachable

5.Present Your facts to God and pray for final guidance
Proverbs 16:9 -
A man's heart deviseth his way: but the LORD directeth his steps.
Proverbs 16:3 -
Commit thy works unto the LORD, and thy thoughts shall be established.

Let God have the final Command!

6.Look out for peace in your heart
Psalms 85:8 - I will hear what God the LORD will speak: for he will speak peace unto his people, and to his saints:


Biblical Wisdom
  1. Avoiding offences
    Matthew 18:7 - Woe unto the world because of offences! for it must needs be that offences come; but woe to that man by whom the offence cometh!
    1Co 10:32 Give none offence, neither to the Jews, nor to the Gentiles, nor to the church of God:
    Acts 24:16 And herein do I exercise myself, to have always a conscience void of offence toward God, and toward men.

    A heart full of offences is sick and cannot be merry
    Proverbs 17:22- A merry heart doeth good like a medicine: but a broken spirit drieth the bones.

  2. Praying for Others
    Job got his breakthroughs by praying for his friends
    Job 42:10 - And the LORD turned the captivity of Job, when he prayed for his friends: also the LORD gave Job twice as much as he had before.
    Matthew 5: 43-44
    43 Ye have heard that it hath been said, Thou shalt love thy neighbour, and hate thine enemy.
44 But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you;

  1. Praying for the Church and the Nation -
    Psalms 122:6 - Pray for the peace of Jerusalem: they shall prosper that love thee.
    Jeremiah 29:7 -
    And seek the peace of the city whither I have caused you to be carried away captives, and pray unto the LORD for it: for in the peace thereof shall ye have peace.
