FROM FIRE TO A WEALTHY PLACE.
"Thou hast caused men to ride over our heads;
we went through fire and through water:
but thou broughtest us out into a wealthy place." — Psalm 66:12 (KJV)
Life is not measured by the storms we encounter but by the God who brings us safely through them.
There are seasons when it feels as though people are riding over our heads.
We may face rejection, hardship, criticism, sickness, financial pressure, or unanswered questions.
At times, the fire burns fiercely, and the waters seem ready to overwhelm us.
Yet, as children of God, our story does not end in the fire or the flood.
The Psalmist declared:
"We went through fire and through water: but thou broughtest us out into a wealthy place."
Notice the word THROUGH.
We are not called to remain in the fire.
We are not destined to drown in the waters.
God specializes in bringing
His people through every trial into a place of peace, fruitfulness, restoration, and abundance.
Your present struggle is not your final destination.
Every test is preparing you for a testimony.
Every battle is shaping you for a greater victory.
Every valley is leading you to a higher mountain.
Hold on to your faith.
Keep praying.
Keep trusting.
The God who has brought you this far will not abandon you now.
Your "wealthy place" is closer than you think.
