Serving God Not For Rewards:
Beloved brethren, today I want us to draw some inspiration for steadfast stewardship from Isaiah 45:13 KJV, which reads:
"I have raised him up in righteousness,
and I will direct all his ways:
he shall build my city,
and he shall let go my captives,
not for price nor reward,
saith the LORD of hosts."
As followers of Christ, we are called to serve God with unwavering devotion and a pure heart.
When we serve God without selfish ambition, we open ourselves up to experience the fullness of His unfailing faithfulness in our lives.
Our focus shifts from temporary rewards here on earth, to eternal rewards in heaven.
Our actions become a reflection of our deep love and reverence for God, the One who created us.
That alone is Enough Reward !!!
Let us be inspired by those whom God has "raised up in righteousness".
Those who build His kingdom and liberate the captives, not for personal gain, but out of a sincere desire to glorify God.
Let us commit ourselves to serving God with unwavering faithfulness. Not for rewards, but for His Kingdom's sake.
Jesus taught us the same in Matthew 6:25, 33 KJV, where He said:
"Therefore I say unto you, Take no thought for your life, what ye shall eat, or what ye shall drink; nor yet for your body, what ye shall put on. Is not the life more than meat, and the body than raiment?
But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you".
Let us focus on serving God: Not Rewards.
God will focus on When, Where and How to Reward us.
