John 1:29, 37 – 42 (KJV)

29 The next day John seeth Jesus coming unto him, and saith, Behold the Lamb of God, which taketh away the sin of the world.

37 And the two disciples heard him speak, and they followed Jesus.
38 Then Jesus turned, and saw them following, and saith unto them, What seek ye? They said unto him, Rabbi, (which is to say, being interpreted, Master,) where dwellest thou?
39 He saith unto them, Come and see. They came and saw where he dwelt, and abode with him that day: for it was about the tenth hour.
40 One of the two which heard John speak, and followed him, was Andrew, Simon Peter's brother.
41 He first findeth his own brother Simon, and saith unto him, We have found the Messias, which is, being interpreted, the Christ.
42 And he brought him to Jesus. And when Jesus beheld him, he said, Thou art Simon the son of Jona: thou shalt be called Cephas, which is by interpretation, A stone.

John The Baptist Was The First One To Introduce Jesus As The Messiah
Verse 29 - ….Behold the Lamb of God, which taketh away the sin of the world.
Verse 36 - And looking upon Jesus as he walked, he saith, Behold the Lamb of God!

And his disciples were the first one to follow Jesus!

Learning From Andrew

1. He Followed Jesus, Spent Time With Him, And Got Acquitted With Him
   38 Then Jesus turned, and saw them following, and saith unto them, What seek ye? They said unto him, Rabbi, (which is to say, being interpreted, Master,) where dwellest thou?
   39 He saith unto them, Come and see. They came and saw where he dwelt, and abode with him that day: for it was about the tenth hour.
   
   -Do you spend time (fellowshipped) with Jesus?
   
   -Have you been inspired by The Teachings of Jesus?
   
   -Have you discovered Him as a messiah?
   
   Ways To Acquaint Yourself
   (a) By Prayer
   (b) By Studying His Word
   (c) By Fellowshipping with the Holy Spiri
   (d) By Fellowshipping and Sharing  with other Christians
   
   
2. He First Looked For His Brother (Simon) And Shared His Testimony.
   Verse 41  - He first findeth his own brother Simon, and saith unto him, We have found the Messias, which is, being interpreted, the Christ.
   
   -Do you introduce Jesus to your family members?
   
   “Don't be like the potter who cooks his food with broken pieces” or “ The Shoe Maker Whose wife is always the worst shod”
   
   
3. He Brought His Brother To Jesus (And Therefore Got A Convert)
   Verse 42 - And he brought him to Jesus. And when Jesus beheld him, he said, Thou art Simon the son of Jona: thou shalt be called Cephas, which is by interpretation, A stone.
   
   -Do you bring your family members to Church?
   -Do you introduce them to Jesus?
   
   Andrew’s First Convert Became A Leading Apostle!
