Prophetic Focus For May 2013 - Divine Guidance Guarantees Breakthroughs - Isaiah 48:17 - 21

Double portion greetings in Jesus name.

I believe everyone of us must have received a fresh baptism of the Spirit of holiness in the course of the month of April 2013 and may everyone of our encounter last us for a lifetime.
We must have all come to understand that godliness is practicable and perfection is possible and because what we believe is what we are empowered to become, I believe it is a new dawn for all of us in the Winners’ family. Amen and Amen.

But what is God saying concerning the new month of May.

The Spirit of God is saying “ye have gone round this mountain long enough, turn you northward(Deut. 2:3).

That is to say we are due for next levels. Where we are today is not our bus-stop, but a stepping stone to the next levels (Micah 2:10).

Our path is destined to shine brighter and brighter unto the perfect day (Prov. 4:18).
However, the more sensitive we are to divine signals, the more glorious the adventure of life becomes (Num. 9:15-23).

In fact, only those who are properly ‘led by the Spirit of God can fully manifest as sons of God’ (Rom. 8:14).

The Holy Ghost is therefore saying to the Winners family worldwide whether as individuals, families, businesses, and the Commission itself that we are due for ‘next levels’; and we are set for another level of glory!
But we know that the leading of the Spirit is what moves both the believer and the church from one level of glory to another – Deut 32:9-14

However, we recognize that:
Ø Every step we take is either taking us closer or farther from our glorious destiny in Christ (Pro 3:5-8)
Ø Every decision we make is either to our advantage or disadvantage (Jer 2:13-17)
Ø Every step we take is either for our lifting or our downfall (Is 42:24-25)
Ø Every move we make is either helping or hurting our destiny (Ps 32:8-10)
Why? One may ask?  This is because ‘there is a way which seemeth right to a man, but the end thereof are the ways of death’ (Prov. 14:12; 16:25).

This is why all through the month of May; we shall be exploring the power of divine guidance in accessing our realm of unending breakthroughs in Christ.

Therefore, the prophetic theme for the month of May 2013 is:

Understanding Our God Given Roles In A Family - Ephesians 5:22 - 31, 6:1 - 4

Every man and every woman on the face of the earth are on a mission.
Jeremiah 1:5, 10
5 - Before I formed thee in the belly I knew thee; and before thou camest forth out of the womb I sanctified thee, and I ordained thee a prophet unto the nations.
10 - See, I have this day set you over the nations and over the kingdoms, To root out and to pull down, To destroy and to throw down, To build and to plant."

Being in a family means there is a mission and a role for you in that family.

ROLES IN A FAMILY
Man (Husband and Father)
  1. Loving Leadership (Oversight Role)
The wife is the manager of home and Husband is the manager of wife
I Corinthians 11:3 - But I would have you know, that the head of every man is Christ; and the head of the woman is the man; and the head of Christ is God.
    Ephesians 5:25 - Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the church, and gave himself for it;
This is a STEWARDSHIP position and the man is expected to be FAITHFUL.
I Corinthians 4:2 - Moreover it is required in stewards, that a man be found faithful.
  2. Provider (Bread Winner)
I Timothy 5:8 - But if any provide not for his own, and specially for those of his own house, he hath denied the faith, and is worse than an infidel.
  3. Train Children (Teaching + moulding + imparting life skills)
Proverbs 22:6 - Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it.
Proverbs 4:1 - Hear, ye children, the instruction of a father, and attend to know understanding

    Biblical Example – Abraham – Genesis 18:17 – 19
19 - For I know him, that he will command his children and his household after him, and they shall keep the way of the LORD, to do justice and judgment; ...
Woman (Wife and Mother)
1.     Helper
God created the woman as a help meet for the man
Genesis 2:18 -  And the LORD God said, It is not good that the man should be alone; I will make him an help meet for him.

This is a VALUE ADDITION Role - Women are AGENTS OF CIVILIZATION.

A man cannot be ALL that God want him to be without the input of a woman.
  1. Home Maker (Home Manager) – Proverbs 31:10 - 31
27 She looketh well to the ways of her household, and eateth not the bread of idleness.
28 Her children arise up, and call her blessed; her husband also, and he praiseth her.
  2. Training
    - Mothers have a unique ability to train up children from toddler to adult
Proverbs 1:8 - My son, hear the instruction of thy father, and forsake not the law of thy mother:

Mother are expected to teach Girls to be Wives and Mothers
Titus 2:4 - That they may teach the young women to be sober, to love their husbands, to love their children,
Children (Both Biological and Adopted)
1.     Honour Your Parents – Ephesians 6:1 -2
1 Children, obey your parents in the Lord: for this is right.
2 Honour thy father and mother; (which is the first commandment with promise;)
2.     Preserve the security and the dignity of parents
Psalms 127:3 -5
3 Lo, children are an heritage of the LORD: and the fruit of the womb is his reward.
4 As arrows are in the hand of a mighty man; so are children of the youth.
5 Happy is the man that hath his quiver full of them: they shall not be ashamed, but they shall speak with the enemies in the gate.

Reference
Ephesians 5:22 -31

22 Wives, submit to your own husbands, as to the Lord.
23 For the husband is head of the wife, as also Christ is head of the church; and He is the Savior of the body.
24 Therefore, just as the church is subject to Christ, so let the wives be to their own husbands in everything.
25 Husbands, love your wives, just as Christ also loved the church and gave Himself for her,
26 that He might sanctify and cleanse her with the washing of water by the word,
27 that He might present her to Himself a glorious church, not having spot or wrinkle or any such thing, but that she should be holy and without blemish.
28 So husbands ought to love their own wives as their own bodies; he who loves his wife loves himself.
29 For no one ever hated his own flesh, but nourishes and cherishes it, just as the Lord does the church.
30 For we are members of His body, of His flesh and of His bones.
31 "For this reason a man shall leave his father and mother and be joined to his wife, and the two shall become one flesh."

Ephesians 6:1 -4
1 Children, obey your parents in the Lord, for this is right.
2 "Honor your father and mother," which is the first commandment with promise:
3 "that it may be well with you and you may live long on the earth."
4 And you, fathers, do not provoke your children to wrath, but bring them up in the training and admonition of the Lord.

Why God Want To Prosper You - Deuteronomy 8:18

  1. Because It Is His Nature
Haggai 2:8 - The silver is mine, and the gold is mine, saith the LORD of hosts.

    Genesis 17:1- 2

1 And when Abram was ninety years old and nine, the LORD appeared to Abram, and said unto him, I am the Almighty God; walk before me, and be thou perfect.
2 And I will make my covenant between me and thee, and will multiply thee exceedingly.
(Birds of a feather flock together – Abraham had to look like God to walk with God)

  2. So He Can Establish His Covenant In The Earth
Deuteronomy 8:18 - But thou shalt remember the LORD thy God: for it is he that giveth thee power to get wealth, that he may establish his covenant which he sware unto thy fathers, as it is this day.

  3. So That YOU CAN Provide For His Church
Malachi 3:10 -  Bring ye all the tithes into the storehouse, that there may be meat in mine house, and prove me now herewith, saith the LORD of hosts, if I will not open you the windows of heaven, and pour you out a blessing, that there shall not be room enough to receive it.

  4. To Keep Finances Out Of The Devil’s Control
Malachi 3:11 - and I will rebuke the devourer for your sakes, and he shall not destroy the fruits of your ground; neither shall your vine cast her fruit before the time in the field, saith the LORD of hosts.

  5. So That YOU CAN Help The Poor
Proverbs 19:17 -  He that hath pity upon the poor lendeth unto the LORD; and that which he hath given will he pay him again.

  6. So That YOU CAN Honour And Glorify Him
    Proverbs 3:9-10
9 Honour the LORD with thy substance, and with the firstfruits of all thine increase:
10 So shall thy barns be filled with plenty, and thy presses shall burst out with new wine.

  7. So That YOU CAN Leave An Inheritance For Your Children
Proverbs 13:22 - A good man leaveth an inheritance to his children's children: and the wealth of the sinner is laid up for the just.

  8. So That YOU CAN Lead and Influence Your Community
    Deuteronomy 28:11-13
11 And the LORD shall make thee plenteous in goods, in the fruit of thy body, and in the fruit of thy cattle, and in the fruit of thy ground, in the land which the LORD sware unto thy fathers to give thee.
12 The LORD shall open unto thee his good treasure, the heaven to give the rain unto thy land in his season, and to bless all the work of thine hand: and thou shalt lend unto many nations, and thou shalt not borrow.
13 And the LORD shall make thee the head, and not the tail; and thou shalt be above only, and thou shalt not be beneath; if that thou hearken unto the commandments of the LORD thy God, which I command thee this day, to observe and to do them:

It is very had to lead and influence people without resources.
    Ecclesiastes 9:14 – 16
14 There was a little city, and few men within it; and there came a great king against it, and besieged it, and built great bulwarks against it:
15 Now there was found in it a poor wise man, and he by his wisdom delivered the city; yet no man remembered that same poor man.
16 Then said I, Wisdom is better than strength: nevertheless the poor man's wisdom is despised, and his words are not heard.

  9.  Because He Is A Good God And He Wants To Bless His Children
Psalms 35:27 - Let them shout for joy, and be glad, that favour my righteous cause: yea, let them say continually, Let the LORD be magnified, which hath pleasure in the prosperity of his servant.

  10. So That YOU CAN Use Your Riches To Prove The Sincerity Of Your Love To Him
2 Corinthians 8:8 - I speak not by commandment, but by occasion of the forwardness of others, and to prove the sincerity of your love.
