Psalms 100:4 - Enter into his gates with thanksgiving, and into his courts with praise: be thankful unto him, and bless his name.

Definition
WHAT IS THANKSGIVING
  1. Recounting the past acts of God.
    Nothing we have is an ACHIEVEMENT; it is a "RECEIVEMENT"!

    It is simply counting your blessings.

WHY MUST WE GIVE THANKS

    Psalms 92:1 - It is a good thing to give thanks unto the LORD, and to sing praises unto thy name, O most High:

    Philippians 4:6 - Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God.
