TOPIC – Understanding The Wonders of The Word

The word of God is the mystery behind all of creation –
John1:1-3
1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.

2 The same was in the beginning with God.

3 All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made.,

Hebrews11:3 - Through faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that things which are seen were not made of things which do appear.

Therefore, God’s word must be the custodian of solutions to all problems.

Psalms 107:20 - He sent his word, and healed them, and delivered them from their destructions.

God’s word is full of wonders for mankind
Psalms 119:18 - Open thou mine eyes, that I may behold wondrous things out of thy law.

Some Of The Wonders Of The Word

1. The Word Saves
   Romans 1:16 - for I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek.
    Romans 10:17 - So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.
   
   
2. The Word Sanctifies
   John 17:17 - Sanctify them through thy truth: thy word is truth.
   Psalms 119:9, 11,
   9 Wherewithal shall a young man cleanse his way? by taking heed thereto according to thy word.
   11 Thy word have I hid in mine heart, that I might not sin against thee.
3. The Word Empowers
    John1:12 - But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name:
   
   Matthew 22:29 Jesus answered and said unto them, Ye do err, not knowing the scriptures, nor the power of God.
   
   1Corithians 1:18 For the preaching of the cross is to them that perish foolishness; but unto us which are saved it is the power of God.
