Knowledge opens your eyes to possibilities. It tells you what can be done.

But wisdom goes a step further—it teaches you what is worth doing, when to do it, how to do it, and what to avoid.

You can have knowledge and still make poor decisions.

You can know many things and yet fail to turn what you know into meaningful results.

Knowledge gives you information; wisdom gives you direction.

Knowledge may show you many open doors, but wisdom helps you discern which door to enter.

That is why the wise person does not merely ask, “Can I do this?”

The wiser question is, “Should I do this?”

In life, business, ministry, relationships and leadership, not everything that is possible is profitable, and not everything that is available is beneficial.

Seek knowledge—but above all, seek wisdom.
