THE PENCIL AND THE ERASER

THE PENCIL AND THE ERASER.

A little pencil once boasted,

"I write beautiful words, draw wonderful pictures, and solve difficult problems. Everyone admires my work."

The eraser quietly smiled and replied,

"That is true. But have you noticed that every time you make a mistake, I am there to remove it? Without me, your errors would remain for everyone to see."

The pencil paused for a moment and said,

"I never thought about that."

The eraser answered,

"In life, greatness is not only found in those who shine. It is also found in those who quietly help others become better."

Many people seek recognition, but few are willing to restore, forgive, encourage, and correct others with love.

Yet these quiet acts often leave the deepest impact.

Be a pencil when you can create value.
Be an eraser when someone needs grace.
The world needs both.

"Brethren, if a man be overtaken in a fault, ye which are spiritual, restore such an one in the spirit of meekness; considering thyself, lest thou also be tempted."
— Galatians 6:1 (KJV)
