The Power of Kindness

The Power of Kindness.

Today, I want us to look at the incredible power of kindness.

Kindness is a rare virtue in this world, yet it is something that everyone yearns for and needs.

When we show kindness to others, we are not only making a positive impact on them, but we are also investing in kindness for ourselves and for our future generations.

The Bible is full of examples that demonstrate the transformative power of kindness.

In Proverbs 11:17, we read:

"The merciful man doeth good to his own soul: but he that is cruel troubleth his own flesh."

This verse reminds us that when we are kind and merciful to others, it ultimately blesses and benefits us as well.

In Ephesians 4:32, Apostle Paul encourages us, saying,

"And be ye kind one to another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God for Christ's sake hath forgiven you."

Paul reminds us that kindness is not just a nice thing to do – it is a reflection of the grace and forgiveness that God has shown us.

In Colossians 3:12, we read these powerful words:

"Put on therefore, as the elect of God, holy and beloved, bowels of mercies, kindness, humbleness of mind, meekness, longsuffering"

This verse reminds us that kindness is a core part of who we are called to be as believers. We are called to be kind to one another.

In the Gospels, we see the ultimate example of kindness in the person of Jesus Christ.

Throughout His earthly ministry, Jesus consistently showed kindness and compassion to the Outcasts, the Marginalized, and the Downtrodden.

He healed the sick, fed the hungry, and offered forgiveness to all who came to him.

Kindness was conspicuously visible in everything Jesus said and did.

Let us reflect the kindness of Christ, so that the world may see the transformative power of this rare and precious virtue.

When we choose to be kind, we are not only blessing others, but we are also investing in a legacy of kindness that will outlive us.

Let kindness define you and your work as it did for Christ.

Be kind to someone today !!!
