Double Portion greetings to you all in the name of Jesus.
Prophetically, the year 2013 has been declared amongst others as a
year of divine surprises for us both as a church and as individuals. Contrary
to the norm that ‘Rome was not built in a day’; we have come to discover that
when God is at work, Rome can be built in less than one day. Therefore, our God
will be turning everyone’s captivity as a dream of the night this year in
fulfillment of his prophetic agenda in Jesus’ name.
The
truth is that we serve a God of strange works and strange acts; a God of
surprises and the following validates this claim:

Our God created the heaven and the earth that is
the universe in only 5 days. (Gen 1:1-24)
·
He made man a most intricate creation just in one
day. (Gen 1:26/2:17-18)
·
God brought Joseph out of the prison to rule as
prime minister in Egypt like a dream of the night (Psm 105: 17-22)
·
This God also brought all the hosts of Israel out
of Egypt one early morning after 430 years of bondage. (Exo 12:41-42)
·
God took David the shepherd boy, turned him to a
national hero overnight and made him the captain of Israel’s’ army. (1 sam
17:35-37 / 1 sam 18:1-6)
·
God also by just one encounter turned Solomon to
the greatest king on the earth. (1Kings 3:-13/4:29-34)
The good news here is that this God has not
changed and what he did before, he can do again. (Mal 3:6)
However, it takes faith to get God to work. It is faith that moves the
hand of God in our favor because it is to everyone according to his faith.
(Matt. 9:29)
Thank
God for the recently concluded 21 days of prayer and fasting. We have fasted
and prayed in faith, we are currently giving thanks to God for answers to our
prayers but we must have to keep our faith alive until our testimonies arrive.
We have fought the good fight of faith but we must keep our faith on fire like
Paul the apostle said ‘’I have kept the faith’’. (2 Tim
4:7)
This is because
only those who keep their faith alive are eligible to experience fulfillment of
prophecies. It is therefore our responsibility as individuals to see every word
of prophecy concerning us this year come to pass with speed by keeping our
faith alive all the way.
Ø Furthermore,
we must remain conscious of the fact that God has ordained this year as our
year of double portion and next levels and must hold the profession of our
faith to the end because it is what we believe that we are empowered to become.
(Heb 10:23/Jn 1:12)
From scriptures we understand
that it is the faith of individuals that will make the difference. Not just
faith, but unwavering faith as the faith of Abraham who ‘’being not weak in faith, he
considered not his own body now dead, when he was about an hundred years old,
neither yet the deadness of Sarah’s womb: He staggered not at the promise of
God through unbelief; but was strong in faith, giving glory to God’’
(Rom 4:19-20).
From here we discover that behind the fulfillment of every prophecy is
the force of FAITH at work as it is written, ‘’Blessed be the Lord God of
Israel, which spake with his mouth unto David my father and hath with his hand
fulfilled it..’’ But we know that Faith is what commits the hand of God
to perform for ‘’blessed is she that believeth; for there shall be a performance of
those things which were told her from the Lord’’ (1 Kings 8:15/Luke
1:45).
Therefore, the prophetic Focus for the month of February 2013 is
ALL THINGS ARE POSSIBLE. (Mark 9:23)
