The Bibles tells us to look for examples to follow.
Isaiah 51:2

him.
Hebrew 6:12 -That ye be not
slothful, but followers of them who through faith and patience inherit the
promises.
Demonstrated Followership by doing the same works as
set by our example
John 8:39 .. Jesus saith unto them, If ye were Abraham's children, ye would do the
works of Abraham.
So far we have discovered that Abraham was:

- Abraham was a man of faith (Rom 4:3, Rom 4:20, Heb 11:6 & Jas 1:6-8)
- Abraham depended on God’s guidance (Gen 12:1, Isaiah 48:17, Isaiah 48:21, Ps 23:1-6)
- Abraham was liberal (generous) (Gen.13: 5-13, 18:1-10, Pr. 11:24-25)
- Abraham was a tither (Gen.
14:19-20, Heb. 7:1-10)

- Abraham was a hard
worker Gen.13:
1-2, 26:18

- Abraham was an employer
(and He trained his servants) (318 trained)
Genesis 14:14 And when Abram heard that his brother was taken captive, he armed his trained servants, born in his own house, three hundred and eighteen, and pursued them unto Dan - Abraham was a man of
praise Rms.
4:20-12)
Romans 4:20 -He staggered not at the promise of God through unbelief; but was strong in faith, giving glory to God;
