YOU NEED A CHANGE OF HEART

There are people who look for God but there are others that God looks for. There are people who are struggling to get God's attention; there are others who are constantly His delight. The difference is the heart. A right heart is what makes you God's delight. Outside of that, every spiritual exercise is in vain. After Saul was anointed king in 1 Samuel chapter 10 the Bible says, “…When he had turned his back to go from Samuel, God gave him another heart: and all those signs came to pass that day” (1 Sam. 10:9). God gave him another heart and as a result all the signs, all his expectations came to pass that day. When your heart is right there can't be delays. So, until your heart is right your blessings cannot reach you. It takes a changed heart to encounter a changed destiny! It takes a change of heart to experience a change of status. Just like the root determines the fruit, your heart determines your spiritual experience, your lifting and your blessings in life. That is the root of all spiritual encounters because God sees your heart before He hears your voice. He responds to the state of your heart much more than He responds to your utterances and your acts. In Acts 8:21, the apostles encountered a man who offered them money to buy the power of the Holy Ghost and Peter said to him, “Thou hast neither part nor lot in this matter: for thy heart is not right in the sight of God. ” Which means, if your heart is right your part is guaranteed! The state of your heart determines the measure of your part. It is not the volume of your prayer that determines the volume of your blessing but the state of your heart. Men may commend your utterances but God answers your heart. Nothing happens on your earth without a root in your heart. Every happening around you is a function of what is happening within you. You can never encounter a change on your earth until there is a move from your heart. It is the move of your heart that determines the changes on your earth. There is nothing a man cannot control when his heart is in place. In Jeremiah 29:11 God said, “…I know the thoughts that I think toward you…thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end.” But in verse 13 He said, “And ye shall seek me, and find me, when ye shall search for me with all your heart…” What moves God to perform His great thoughts towards you is the state of your heart. So, ensure that your heart is connected, ensure that your heart is fervent, pure and right before God. When God finds a man with a right heart, He has found the right man to be anointed, empowered and blessed! That will be you story from henceforth! Meditate on these: Luke 8:15, Mark 7:6-7
